Who this is for
This consultation is for adults registered as unemployed in Germany who need to restart rather than merely continue a job search. You may be returning after redundancy, a fixed-term contract, caring responsibilities, illness, relocation, or a long period outside your original occupation.
You do not need a finished CV or a precise job title. You do need enough energy to discuss your current constraints honestly and complete a few agreed actions afterward.
What we establish together
We begin with the facts: your registration date, recent roles, recognised qualifications, German language level, mobility, preferred hours, salary needs, and any deadlines already set by the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter. We then identify two or three credible role directions rather than an exhausting list of unrelated vacancies.
The session includes:
- a plain-language map of your current position and immediate obligations;
- a role and sector shortlist grounded in your experience;
- gaps to address in your CV or supporting documents;
- questions to take to your Vermittlungsfachkraft;
- a four-week plan for applications, conversations, and follow-up.
It does not include legal representation, immigration advice, psychological treatment, or a guarantee of employment or public funding.
Before the appointment
Bring your current CV if one exists, two job advertisements that interest you, and any non-sensitive notes from a recent agency appointment. Do not email identity documents or complete benefit records. A short preparation sheet arrives after your booking is agreed.
Your written action map
Within two working days, you receive a concise summary of target roles, missing information, application priorities, and dates for your next actions. It is written for your use; it is not an official assessment for a public authority.
Provider and boundaries
Your session is led by Mara Vogt, an employment adviser experienced in adult career transitions, German recruitment practice, and preparation for conversations with employment services. Stackcraftlane is independent and is not part of the Bundesagentur für Arbeit, a Jobcenter, or a recruitment agency.
